Knitting for the Needy

Helping to Celebrate the Compassion Games

Details: 

  • This event is sponsored by the Richardson Interfaith Alliance and is in connection with the Compassion Games. 
  • Items can be knitted, crocheted, sewn, or created in any way that produces a warm item. 
  • Hat and scarves are to be made in adults, teens, children, and infant sizes. 
  • Our goal is to collect 200 sets (a hat and scarf). 
  • Items will be donated to groups helping the homeless or needy in the DFW area.
  • Items can be dropped by St. Barnabas before September 20th. 

On September 20th at 6PM St. Barnabas will be hosting a gathering to celebrate the work of many hands helping others. There will be a selection of yummy stews for dinner and a special guest speaker from The Stewpot in Dallas. Bring your finished items, and an appetite as we celebrate our accomplishments!
