Emergency Preparedness Fair & Blood Drive

The public is invited to a community Emergency Preparedness Fair that will be held on May 21 from 9am-12noon at 900 S. Bowser, Richardson, Texas 75081.  The Fair is open to the public with free admission and parking.  The Fair will feature:
  • Two keynote speakers (starting at 10am): David McCauley speaking on “The Rowlett Tornado:  Lessons Learned for the Next Disaster,” and Savannah L. Martin speaking on “Know What to Do:  Plan Today; Be Reslient Tomorrow“
  • Exhibits on topics such as 72 hour kits, light/heat/cooking, water storage, food storage, and others
In light of the recent tornadoes and hailstorms, these topics are even more top of mind.
